This is a picture of a rainbow hitting the rocks of Sedona, AZ. As I was trying to find a "charged" picture, this once struck me with its shear beauty, awesome power, forever promise, and new life that rain brings and the ending that brings a beautiful rainbow! I never tire of viewing the beauty of nature, the awesome array of color that is created with precision each and every time a rainbow appears. It brings freshness, an air of calm, and renewed energy that all things are bright and beautiful especially after a rainfall and the forever promise that a rainbow brings... Pat Kaehler.

In alot of writings rain is a symbol for change, do you precieve the rainbow as a symbol for change aswell or it is the outcome of good change, in compairion to how a bad storm would outcome?

ReplyDeleteI do not preceive the rainbow as change. I perceive it as constant, steadfast, and always predectable. Why, God promised He would never flood the earth again, and He gave us the rainbow as a reminder, right? No matter how small or enormous a rain storm can be, there is always a rainbow to be found somewhere...
It was nice to see an uplifting type of charged image instead of so many sad ones. While views of the beauty of nature are best experienced first-hand and lose some of their impact through photos and videos, the printed image brings back the memory of the first-hand experience of an emotionally charged image of nature.
